The Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre and Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College Moshi in Tanzania in partnership with Duke University-USA wishes to announce recruitment of the following posts for the Medical Education Partnership Initiative-MEPI Program at the KCMC Campus
Qualification
Must hold a Degree in management, public health or other relevant field of study from a recognized institution.
Must poses excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Access and Excel.
Must possess excellent reporting skills
Experience
Minimum of 2 years working experience managing large, complex programs preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
The person will report to the Project Coordinator and manage the administration of collaborative research projects and activities, specifically
To finalise and implement the unified M&E plan fbe Medical Education Partnership Initiatives (MEPI) atKCMC in Tanzania in collaboration Duke University colleagues and the Sponsor team in line with the logic model.
To work closely with Project Coordinator to introduce and monitor implementation of the new initiatives and provide feedback to Principal Investigators, Project Coordinators and MEPI Team, to ensure, efficient and effective M&E of all project activities at all times.
To undertake bi-annual evaluation and provide technical support to the project including production of reports to assess progress against approved M&E Plan.
To compile bi annual Performance & Financial Donor Reporting with Project • colleagues for submission to the HRSA.
To work closely with MEPI staff to design activities to strengthen the capacity of staff in M&E activities of the project through provision of technical support e.q, skills assessment, training and appraisals.
To support the design and implementation of baseline/midline/and other surveys according to the approved work plan,
To produce a variety of written documents e.g. data summaries, workshop reports, etc.
To support in the administration of the MEPI project including management of functional personnel and participating in the ongoing evaluation of staff, organize meetings as requested. Record and maintain meeting minutes, Coordinating communications between all grant programs.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as may be requested-from time to time by competent authority.
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to train / coach staff and give occasional presentations.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
