Tanzania Women's Bank PLC (TWB) is a bank established under the Company Act - No. 212 of 2002 for the purpose of providing access to a full range of financial services for its customers, targeting mainly customers with low income comprising of Micro Businesses, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with special focus and emphasis on women entrepreneurs. TWB seek to recruit dynamic, honest, result oriented and committed person to fill the following roles. Head of Finance & Administration Reporting toManaging Director, the incumbent will be responsible for strategic financial stability, sustainability, and profitability and quality investments of funds. Acts as advisor to management on all aspects of bank's financial matters and policy
Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications & Experience
• A Minimum of Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Certified Public Accounting (CPA-T) or ACCA and registered as authorized accountant by NBAA
• A minimum of 10 years relevant working experience of which five (5) years should be at Senior Managerial position
• Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office Suite
Duties and Responsibility:
• In charge of financial and operations' efficiency control function through budget control.
• Consolidates the institution's financial budget and cash flow projections
Consolidates the institution's projected financial statements.
• Prepares of detailed monthly and quarterly financial statements and cash-flow statements.
• Custodian and controller of the funds and physical resource Anti money laundering reporting person.
• Ensures that accurate and comprehensive information pertaining to finance is promptly compiled and submitted as required by management
• Ensures efficient and cost effective administration of the department
Maintains and controls expenditure within the approved budget
• Maintains investment information and advices management on investment decisions as appropriate.
• Designs and manages staff remuneration and motivation.
• Advises the managing director on optimum insurance cover on financial, physical and Human Resources.
• Coaching and ensure succession plan is in place Maintains an up to date assets register.
• Ensures the maintenance of all records pertaining to institution's accounts to facilitate the auditing of books by the internal and external auditors, Bank of Tanzania and other relevant regulatory authorities.
• Ensures timely payment of creditors, salaries and statutory obligations and maintaining books of accounts on the basis of accounting principles.
• Responsible for Liquidity Management and deposit mobilization Appraises staff performance in Finance and Administration Department.
• Keeps the Managing Director well informed about all financial and accounting matters
• Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by Managing Director.
