Precision Air Services Plc is a fast growing private Tanzanian airline which operates in partnership with Kenya Airways, with its strategies to expand wings beyond East Africa and Africa. In order to keep our services at a higher level and meet our customers’ maximum satisfaction, we wish to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill in this challenging position:- REPORTS TO: SENIOR CATERING OFFICER

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
• Advance/Ordinary level of secondary education
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Good command of English and Kiswahili
• Must have up to 3 years driving experience in a reputable organization
• Must take and successfully pass a pre-employment medical test, as well as be willing to take random or post-accident drug or alcohol test

COMPETENCIES:
• Team player
• High integrity
• Ability to work under high pressure with minimum supervision
• Good/positive attitude
• Must reside in airport surrounding areas, or within 25kms from the airport

VEHICLE RULES (for DRIVERS)
• No eating, drinking or smoking on board the vehicle.
• No riding under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
• No littering in the vehicle.
• No radios, cassette tape players, compact disc players or other sound-generating equipment may be played aloud aboard the company vehicle


PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
• On time performance in compliancy with the schedule on daily operation basis.
• Tolerant to sudden changes as opposed to the scheduled program.
• Portraying a positive image of the company at every destination.
• Being full responsible for road required documents like insurance covers.
• Proper use of the company vehicle as per official assignments.
• Being in good relationship with colleagues in their respective cadre

ROLE PURPOSE OF THE STATEMENT
To provide efficient, timely and safe transportation to all assigned locations
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSBILITIES
• To Drive Company Vehicles for official assignments.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of company vehicles.
• Overseeing repairs and maintenance of vehicles including replacement of spare parts and general services.
• Advice on status of insurance cover/TLB and other road traffic required documents.
• Attend Drivers Committee meetings
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
