1. Junior Communication Officer
Requirements
- High moral standing and integrity.
- University degree in communications, graphic designing or related field
- Knowledge of Adobe Indesign (or similar)
- Creativity and capacity to proactively take initiative
- Knowledge in working with websites (Joomla)
- Some previous experience in the field of communications
- Knowledge of social media systems
- Very good oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in French and Kinyarwanda and good knowledge of English
- Excellent IT skills and ability to troubleshooting Punctuality and eye for details
- Knowledge of corruption- and transparency-related issues an familiarity with civil society would be an asset.
Time frame
The Junior Communications Officer is expected to start at the beginning February 2013. He/she will be offered a contract for three months with the possibility to be extended upon satisfactory performance.
2. Project coordinator Innovation for Education project
Relevant qualification and experience of the project coordinator
- Masters degree in Social Sciences and related field with at least 5 years of experience.
- Work experience in project management
- To be conversant with the Rwandan education system
- Experience in governance and corruption related research constitutes an advantage
- Proven experience in both qualitative and quantitative approach ;
- Work experience within the civil society system ;
- Experience in networking with National and International Governance Institutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent command of English
Period covered by the project
The project is expected to be done within 2 years starting from Feb. 2013 to Feb. 2015.
