International Resources Group (IRG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Engility Corporation, seeks experienced candidates for senior-level technical and programmatic positions for potential USAID-funded projects based in Sub-Saharan Africa focused on mitigating regional conflict and with significant grant components. IRG is seeking candidates who can provide program management, create and ensure grant design and implementation, and liaise with USAID.
General Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree and 3-5 years of professional experience in the region
- Experience on USAID-funded projects strongly preferred
- Previous experience in community participation projects focused on conflict and political transition
- Previous experience guiding program staff in creatively designing and implementing small grants that relate to current conflict dynamics, political events, and unstable and/or transitional environments
- Previous experience working with NGOs or international donor organizations preferred
- Fluency in English; Fluency in French preferred
- Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
