To direct and lead initiatives to drive international revenues by continuously/ monitoring all drivers for international revenue bucket and develop targeted and segmented initiatives to grow share
- To formulate business strategy to meet current and future needs of international services
- Develop and implement a process resulting in No customers complaints while availing of the program benefits
- Designing, managing, analyzing programs and offers to create stickiness of the base to the network and hence building loyalty.
2. To achieve business targets according to the business plan.
- Roll out of innovative solutions needed to grow roaming and international revenue
- Monitoring feedback on marketing initiatives effectiveness, product performance and customer experience
- Proposes corrective actions resulting in better customer value proposition and higher usage.
3. To work with the legal, revenue assurance and regulatory departments as well as the network teams on national interconnection.
- Liaise with network personnel regarding planning and implementation of capacity links and POP’s
- Work with legal & regulatory, departments
- Build a cross-functional roaming team to identify new opportunities and resolve problems and issues identified
4. To support the International Calling business and International roaming Coordinators
- Establish and manage business relationship with international carriers and suppliers
- Compile business proposals and conduct presentations to international carrier and customers
- Negotiate bilateral agreement & accounting settlement and business development with international carriers
- Rates negotiations and analysis on international telecom service
- Establish wholesale SMS partnerships
- Establish new roaming agreements & sign preferred agreements with key operators
- Build a cross-functional roaming team to identify new opportunities and resolve problems and issues identified
- Increase the pre-paid roaming agreement base
- Establish implementation of roaming testing tools
5. Ensure increase in the contribution of Long Distance traffic in the calling pattern
- Design plans and programs for increasing the penetration and hence the usage of the long distance traffic
- By identifying and hence creating various channels and means of driving the customer to use mobile for long distance calls as against a landline or a local call outlet
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelors in Marketing or Business Information Systems
- Masters in Business Administration would be preferred additional qualification
- Must have knowledge of tariffs, inter-carrier access agreements and pricing and billing elements of access services and be able to conduct simple financial analysis.
- Past experience in roaming & long distance call management will be a distinct advantage
- 3 years experience in telecommunications industry will be a distinct advantage
- Ability to innovate and deliver value to business at multiple levels will play an important role
- Ability to manage large scale with a very wide geographical scope across Rwanda
- Ability to manage an outsourcing partner to deliver business solution
