Reports to: Senior Qualifications Officer
Job purpose:
To participate in designing and developing Occupational Standards and Profiles for defined Trades /Technical/Vocational Courses.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
- An Honours’ degree in Education, Statistics, or/ABachelor of Science in any Technical/Vocational discipline including Engineering/Technology from a recognized Institution.
- Post graduate qualification or training in technical/vocational curriculum development ORTechnical/vocation training pedagogy OR competence based education and Training from a recognized institution.
Working experience in a recognized technical, vocational, education and training institution OR research OR curriculum development OR assessment institution or recognized organization involved in related work is an added advantage.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct Occupational Standards Development Workshops.
- Participate in updating Occupational standards.
- Participate in the Section’s costed Work plan development.
- Prepare and submit Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the relevant authority.
