Reports to : Senior Qualification Officer
Job purpose:
To participate in research and maintenance of a reliable data bank on Occupational Standards and labour market.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- An Honours’ degree in Education, Statistics, or/ABachelor of Science in any Technical/Vocational discipline including Engineering/Technology from a recognized Institution.
- Post graduate qualification or training in technical/vocational curriculum development ORTechnical/vocation training pedagogy OR competence based education and Training from a recognized institution.
Working experience in a recognized technical, vocational, education and training institution OR research OR curriculum development OR assessment institution or recognized organization involved in related work is an added advantage.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Participate in research on Assessment processes, procedures and instruments.
- Participate in planning and implementing capacity building initiatives for Assessors.
- Participate in the maintenance of an up-to-date data bank on assessment instruments and materials.
- Disseminate research findings on assessment processes ,procedures and results.
- Participate in the preparation of work plans and budgets for the section.
- Participate in the preparation of the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual technical reports for the section.
- Prepare and submit Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the relevant authority
