Objective: GRI is currently looking for Gender Specialists for long or short term positions with REDD+ projects around the world.

Qualifications: • Minimum ten (10) years experience with gender in forestry, climate change, agribusiness or livelihood projects • Proven familiarity with REDD+, REDD+ Social and Environmental Standards, and Gender and Development (GAD) • Relevant experience facilitating community consultations • Experience with community forestry activities such as species monitoring, soil management, and forest restoration functions • Experience managing food security projects a plus • Experience managing income generation projects a plus • Experience designing and delivering capacity building trainings • Experience with data collection and gendered data analysis • Strong management and organizational skills • Professional level fluency in English (required), additional languages a plus
