The Sales department and each of its members hold the responsibility for top line revenue generation for the group for offline and integrated online sales activities for both the lodging and tour operating divisions in Africa and South East Asia.
The Sales Executive required will need to have a detailed understanding and make full utilization of the travel sales network for their respective markets at multiple levels as part of a multi-channel business.
KEY OUTPUTS
· Understand and maximize the complex relationships and buying patterns in our multichannel business
· Manage markets and implement sales strategies
· Manage an effective and target driven Sales Network who are able to sell both a lodge and tour operating business
· Identify, prioritise and have a current knowledge of key players in the respective markets, with the ability to network with, develop these and other key relationships in the targeted markets
· Execute strategies by representing the brand at a senior level with key industry figures and key clients
· Accountability for delivery on agreed revenue budgets for touring and lodges by channel and geography for identified markets
· Revenue Generation and Strategic Responsibilities that involve Sales Management & Development, Sales/Brand Representation & Negotiating
· Finance, General, Health and Safety
· Prepare, Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate identified markets
· Search for sales leads and prospects
· Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
· Conduct one-on-one review with all ‘Rest of the World’ market Sales Teams members to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance
· Provide timely feedback to ‘Rest of the World’ market Sales Teams regarding performance
· Ensure that you meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes
· Maintain contact with Key market &Beyond clients in the market area and internally to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
· Demonstrate ability to interact, cooperate and mentor all &Beyond employees
QUALIFICATIONS
· At least 4 years proven Sales Management track record, an applicable Degree or diploma would be advantageous
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
· Sales and luxury tourism product experience preferred
· Exposure to world class sales management/ transformation and digital/e-commerce practices a distinct advantage
· Proven track record of hitting and exceeding stretch sales targets
· Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations
· Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management
· Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
· Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
This is a permanent position based in Arusha and or Nairobi
