MzN | International is a non-profit, social business providing short and long-term technical assistance to non-governmental organisations. Our core skills are delivering capacity enhancement and interim management services. Due to increased demand, we are currently seeking Senior Monitoring & Evaluation experts to act as interim managers or consultants/experts to our iNGO clients worldwide.

Candidates who successfully complete their first assignment will be invited to join the expert team of MzN | International. Experts benefit from a constant flow of interim and consultancy assignments worldwide, with the opportunity to choose dates and assignment location.
MzN | International Development Experts also benefit from a comprehensive learning and development framework as well as other fringe benefits. Whilst on their first assignment, MzN | International will manage all administrative duties and provide regular professional guidance. The NGO client will usually provide accommodation, travel and essential insurances.
Key Responsibilities
- Consultants must be proactive communicators, foreseeing challenges, training needs and potential conflicts before they arise in order to plan and implement mitigating action.
- Consultants are required to quickly establish a working network within the specific location office as well as overseas infrastructure to coordinate action.
- Consultants will take full responsibility of the specific objectives of the assignment, as well as identifying and communicating additional actions to be taken during the mission.
Required qualifications
- At least a Masters degree in social sciences, economics, development or other related subject
- At least ten years’ experience in monitoring & evaluation, capacity development, policy, strategic plan development
- Extensive experience conducting evaluations for NGOs
- Excellent command of English language (written and spoken)
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Word and MS Excel as well as e-communication software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal experience
- Prior experience of working in post disaster countries or conflict states would be an advantage
