Institutional Fundraising Manager
(Stationed in Hong Kong and on a 2-year contract basis) (Ref.: HKU/IFM/12/02)
S/He is responsible for developing strategy and implementing action for fundraising in corporate sector and growing and managing income from institutional donors. S/He will be leading two fundraising staff in corporate fundraising and working closely with programme teams in institutional fundraising for our projects in countries where Oxfam Hong Kong works.
Major duties and responsibilities
•Develop and implement a corporate and institutional funding strategy
•Explore funding opportunities
•Manage relationship with corporate and institutional donors
•Develop donor intelligence and ensure good knowledge management in relation to donors
•Support capacity building for programme staff in relation to development of funding strategies, funding •proposals and contract management
•Manage corporate and institutional income contracts
•Manage the submission of funding proposal and advise fundraising staff on funding policies of donor agencies
•Collaborate with other Oxfam affiliates in preparing funding applications
The successful candidate MUST meet the following requirements:
•Degree holder with over 5 years of solid experience in donor relationship management, corporate and overseas institutional fundraising from funds of overseas government and agencies
•A successful track record in developing funding proposals for corporate donors, institutional donors, trusts and foundations
•Practical field-based experience and/or a strong understanding of developing and implementing long term development programs, advocacy and/or humanitarian programs in an international context
•Experience in budget management, programme cycle management, monitoring and evaluation, liaison with stakeholders, team coordination and capacity building in acquiring and managing donor funding
•Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English
High level of computer literacy
•Ability to work effectively both within a team environment and independently
•Meticulous and good numeric sense
•Good interpersonal skill, resilient, optimistic, patient and open-minded
•Identify with Oxfam’s development philosophy, principles and objectives and commit to gender equity, social justice and community development

We offer base salary in the range of USD 4,700 to USD 6,200 varying by qualification and experience and provide benefits same as local employees which include medical insurance cover and provident fund benefits. OHK will provide relocation allowance for overseas recruited employee and his/her dependant(s) while the employee will bear the costs of his/her own housing, dependent’s health and children education and all income taxes arising from the employment.
