CONTRACT: Permanent
SALARY: £31,504 – 33,727pa
LOCATION: Central London
CLOSING DATE: September 2nd 2012
At ActionAid we’ve undergone significant planned change to ensure we are better positioned to deliver lasting solutions to the problems of global poverty.
A new structure and fresh thinking has re-energised the organisation. We’ve now created fantastic career opportunities for experienced sector professionals who want to be part of an organisation that is focussed on delivering a bold strategy to provide sustained improvements to the poorest and most excluded people in the world.
Join our action to end poverty now and be part of something truly amazing. You will plan and deliver a number of high budget marketing campaigns – primarily through face-to-face and door-to-door channels – to achieve our annual supporter acquisition targets.
This will involve analysing past campaigns and attrition levels, testing new ideas and improving what we do from what is learnt. You’ll also manage the budget and marketing plans, and our relationship with suppliers.
Effective collaboration will be key to your success. You’ll work with other marketing managers and our Supporter Care team to ensure our communications with supporters are of a consistently high standard.
You’ll play an active role in our Supporter Growth team as well, to promote best practice. Even more broadly, you’ll co-operate with colleagues across our organisation to find new ways to increase our funds. An impressive record of planning and managing face-to-face and door-to-door marketing campaigns is essential for success.
You must be used to developing integrated multi-media campaigns, as well as managing street and door recruitment agencies, creative agencies and printers. You also need to be skilled at monitoring, reporting and forecasting against plans and budgets.
