SALES REPRESENTATIVE AT ZANZIBAR INSURANCE CORPORATION

Zanzibar insurance Corporation is a state owned company which has been operating even before liberation of the insurance industry in 1996 and registered according  to insurance  ACT Cap 394 of year 2009.
Zanzibar insurance company corporation is looking for a qualified candidates to fill the fallowing vacancy.

JOB TITLE: SALES REPRESENTATIVE (ONE POST MTWARA )
REPORTING TO: ZONAL DIRECTOR
JOB PURPOSE: she or he responsibility for all activities of the zonal  offices. She/ he is to ensure the application of organization policies and procedure in collaboration within the other members of the zonal office team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i.    To plan, monitor & ensure quality acquisitions and control customer churn in the zone.
ii.    To monitor & ensure quality resolution of complaints and  requests within the zone.
iii.    To plan, review& implement accounts management process.
iv.      Business progress planning encompassing, studying market trends customer feedback, product development, media planning capacity expansion and operating cost control.
v.    Ensure implementation of business progression plan in their respective zones in a time bound manner by effective coordination within all stakes holders.
vi.    Ensure operational effectiveness by coordination with services deliver teams and  other support function.
vii.    Underwriting business and settlement of insure claims within prescribed limits.
viii.    Ensure  higher retention of employees in the respective zones and ensure employee growth with the S&M team for the respective zones
ix.    Man power budgeting and ensuring man power availability so as to deliver on the business progression plan as per the agreed time lines.
x.    Any other related duties.
 KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
•    Holder of associate chartered insurance (ACII) diploma  or
•    Advanced diploma  in insurance from recognized institution
•    A recognized degree plus professional insurance qualification and
•    At rest 5 years of experience in insurance activities.
REMUNERATION:
Remuneration will  be according be according to ZIC salary scale and  other terms and conditions of  ZIC.
