POSITION: Accountant Treasury
REPORTS TO: Treasury Manager DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM
You will be reporting to Treasury Manager of Precision Air Services Plc please take note of your responsibilities
ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Update and reconcile treasury accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports and prevent loss.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain bank accounts and mandates to ensure efficient operations, compliance and security of funds.
• Reconcile treasury general Ledger accounts weekly, investigate and clear all reconciling items promptly. Ensuring all postings are accurate hence representing a true and fair picture of all bank accounts
• Perform the mark to market of the company foreign exchange bank accounts daily so as to realize the revaluation loss and gain and its trend on daily basis.
• Viewing and monitoring the bank accounts in real time in internet banking.
• On a monthly basis accrue for interest income/Expenses and reconcile to actual received/Paid for purposes of ensuring the airline does not lose out on interest received/Paid as forecasted
• Prepare various periodic treasury reports for purposes of identifying financial position of the company
• Reviewing payment requests to suppliers to ensure accuracy and validity to prevent loss of funds.
• Review all company loan accounts and ensure correct entries are passed to reflect the actual balance.
• Ensuring outstation imprest accounts are funded on a timely basis to avoid cash flow constraints and interest charges and supported by duly approved documentation.
• Approve payments and review bank reconciliation’s to ensure accuracy of underlying records and prevent loss to the company.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Treasury Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
• B.Com Accounting option from reputable University.
• CPA, ACCA qualifications or its equivalent.
• Computer skills conversant with MS office applications.
• Knowledge in ERP will be added advantage.
• 2 years experience
