Job Description
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing a courteous and efficient service to all internal and external customers, being a valuable first point of contact for visitors.
- Driving carefully and safely at all times in line with international driving standards and ensuring that your passengers in your care are safe
- Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting on maintenance needs.
- Ensuring vehicle reports are approved and accurate records of mileage, fuel and maintenance costs are updated and made available to supervisors.
- Establish excellent working relationships with all staff within the organisation
- Being available to undertake missions outside of standard working hours in case of emergencies, in some instances in other provinces.
- Preparing journey plans by gathering adequate knowledge of the destination and route to ensure customers arrive in good time
- Maintaining a professional appearance at all times
Candidate Specification
You will:
- Have a valid driving license
- Be an excellent communicator, fluent in English and Kiswahili
- Have worked within a multi-national team or project environment
- Possess excellent knowledge of the city and motorways in Tanzania
- Certified professional driving training (desirable)
- Demonstrable defensive driving skills along with basic routine vehicle maintenance
- Significant professional driving experience.
