TECHNICIAN

Technician III - Department of Soil Science

Qualification and Experience:
Possession of Diploma in Laboratory Science/Clinical/ Microbiology Laboratory Sciences or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
Working experience in Microbiology will be an added advantage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the post:
Assisting in performing routine technical tasks under the supervision of an experienced technician
Assisting in taking samples for laboratory investigations
Assisting in the repair and maintenance of laboratory / workshop facilities
Assisting in field operations/research activities
Assisting in implementing technical plans and designs
Performing other related duties as may be assigned by senior staff

Age: Not above 45 years old
Salary: As per Treasury Registrar's
Circular No.5 of 2014
