Kibaha Education Centre is a multi-purpose Educational Institution that is located in Coast Region (Tumbi area) about 40 kilometers (24 miles) West of Dar es Salaam along Morogoro Road. This Centre started in 1963. Kibaha Education Centre (KEC) was established through Act No.17 of 1969. The overall objective of the Centre as originally conceived was, combating three enemies of development namely Poverty, Ignorance and Diseases in integrated approach.
5.1 ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTICS OFFICER II - (1 POST)
5.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Filing transaction documents,
• Assisting in arranging stocks in the shelves or storage area according to their nature and sensitivity,
• Dispatching goods received notes and invoices to payment section,
• Receiving and issuing goods,
• Assisting in maintaining and updating stock bin card and stores loan records,
• Assisting in ensuring that stores are kept in proper bins, racks or location,
• Performing any other duties related to his/her work as assigned by his/her Supervisor.
5.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Ordinary Diploma in Materials Management from a recognized institution.
5.1.3 REMUNERATION
• Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’s salary scale.
5.2 ENGINEER II - (1 POST)
5.2.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Establishing and implementing preventive maintenance plans for the
Institute’s facilities,
• Maintaining Institute’s machines, equipment and building equipment’s as per manufacturer standards,
• Carrying out independently specified routine technical tasks which require a higher degree of technical knowledge and skills,
• Ensuring the communication System of KEC is smoothly operating and
• Performing any other duties related to his/her work as assigned by his/her Supervisor.
5.2.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor of Science or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical engineering.
5.2.3 REMUNERATION
• Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’s salary scale.
5.3 EDUCATION OFFICER II (BIOLOGY & CHEMISTRY) - (1 POST)
5.3.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Teach Secondary Schools,
• Prepare curriculum of studies and circulars,
• Responsible for proper records of all examination skills,
• Arrange the preparation and moderation of examination papers, • Prepare examination development policies,
• Assist teaching physical education,
• Prepare and to have proper records of the students assessments, • Supervise studies associations,
• Prepare the action plans on the Academic year, • Take care of the teaching equipment and
• Performing any other duties related to his/her work as assigned by his/her Supervisor.
5.3.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor Degree in Education from recognized University/ Institution.
