Position: Manager Finance and Accounts Section (Ref No.PDB/M19/MFA/10/13)

Description:

Position Summary: Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the finance and accounts functions of PDB. Key Responsibilities will include: • Processing payment of salaries and banking cash and cheques; • Submitting voucher lists and collecting cheques from the Treasury; • Ensuring proper documentation to support vouchers, including authorization according to regulations; and • Maintaining cashbooks of the PDB. • Monitoring expenditure and implementation of PDB budget; • Preparing monthly flash reports and periodic financial performance reports • Ensuring adherence to relevant acts, regulations and circulars; • Responding to all Audit queries raised during the previous financial year; and • Performing any other related duties as may be assigned by the Director, Corporate Services from time to time.

Qualification:

Key Qualifications and Experience 
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounts or equivalent; 
• A certified CPA, ACCA or ACA will be an added advantage; and 
• A minimum of five (5) years relevant working experience three (3) of which should be in a managerial position
