Financial Analyst III (Financial Stability – Crisis Management) - 1 Post
Reports to: Head of Division
Contract type: Contract for unspecified period of time
Location: Head Office, Dar es Salaam
Job Purpose:
To develop key components of adaptable crisis management plans and prepare financial stability reports and publications.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Preparing inputs and analysis for briefings to the Bank’s Financial Crisis Management Committee and the Tanzania Financial Stability Forum.
b) Assisting in performing crisis management simulation exercises to determine the effectiveness of financial crisis management frameworks for the domestic financial system;
c) Assisting in developing financial soundness indicators for the financial system;
d) Providing inputs in the preparation of the financial stability reports and other relevant crisis management reports;
e) Participating in reviewing the work of the international standard setting bodies under the auspices of the Financial Stability Board with a view to identifying the implications for the domestic financial system;
f) Carrying out analysis of systemic financial soundness indicators to identify early warning signals for potential threats to financial stability;
g) Perform other related duties as may be assigned by superiors.
Education/Professional Qualifications Required:
a) Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field from an accredited institution;
b) Master’s degree or CFA certification will be an added advantage.
