Position Description:
The Aga khan health service, Tanzania is an agency of the Aga khan development network, committed to providing quality health care to patients and promoting health sciences education. With this ongoing mandate, the Aga khan hospital has embarked on a major expansion that will see the development of tertiary-level services. With this, we require the following enthusiastic and qualified candidates who are committed to patient and family-centered care.
Main responsibilities:            
Facilitating & coordinating all recruitment activities, including maintenance of candidate/resume database new hire orientation, overseeing ISO requirements & compliance, development and maintenance of Schemes of Service and salary bands of employees, coordinating and implementation of initiatives, programs, policies and procedures related to human resource management of employees, and ensure workplace practices are compliant with institution and employment standard policies and guidelines, manage effective working and facilitative relationship with Heads of Departments, as well as build linkages with employment agencies and educational facilities,
Academic Qualifications:
Degree in Human Resource Management;
At least 2_3 years of work experience in the HR field preferably in recruitment.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of HR management principles, practices and methods in employee relations and recruitment.
Strong written and verbal skills in both English and Kiswahili
Excellent communication skills, demonstrated diplomacy and ability to elicit and foster positive relationships
