Precision Air Services PLC is a fast growing private Tanzanian Airline which operates in Partnership' with Kenya Airways with its Headquarters in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Reports To: Chief Internal Auditor

Duty Station:Dar es Salaam  

Role Purpose of the Statement

To obtain evidence that the information systems safeguarding assets, maintaining data integrity, and operating effectively to achieve the organization's goals or objectives.

To execute IT and Operational Audit Assignments as you will be assigned by the Principal Internal Auditor, Chief Internal Auditor.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Carrying out surprise checks and investigations as assigned to you by the Team Leader.

Preparing audit reports on assignments allocated to you and submitting them to the Team Leader for review.

Carrying out operational audits as per specific audit programmes. Carrying out any other audit assignment as may be assigned by the Team Leader.

And any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief and/or Principal Internal Auditor from time to time.

Performance Indicators:

Timely execution of audit engagements. Timely preparation of audit reports. Good client relations.

Compliance with IFRS, IPPF, company law and tax legislation.

Compliance with CPE requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

B.Com Degree

Qualified accountant: CPA (T) or equivalent.

Thorough knowledge of IFRS, lAS, IPPF, Tax legislation and company law.

IT literacy and proficiency in CAATs.

Membership of professional bodies: NBAA, IIA, etc.

Excellent risk analysis skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

3 Years working experience.
