All applicants must have an overall GPA of 4.0 and above or B+ and must have obtained an overall GPA of 3.8 and above at undergraduate level

b)Area of Specialization:Bacherol in Building Survey
Duties:Successful candidate is expected to:
-Assist in teaching undergraduate students
-Assist in conducting research and publishing in their areas of specialization
-Assist in carrying out consultancy and public service delivery
Applicants must have obtained an overall GPA of 3.8 and above at undergraduate level

a)Position:Assistant Librarian(1 post)
b)Area of specialization:Holder of masres in Library and information Sciences,Informatics and/or IT will be an added advantage
All applicants must have an overall GPA of 4.0 and above or B+ and must have obtained an overall GPA of 3.8 and above at undergraduate level
Duties:Successful candidat is expected to perform any other library duties as assigned by his/her supervisor
Note:
Remuneration:Successful candidates will be offered attractive salaries withing thue PUTS scale

B.ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS
1.DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION(1 Post)
Qualifications & Experience:
Holder of Masters Degree in relevant field with working experience of at least ten(10) years in a senior in administration plus ICT skills.Or holder of Phd in the relevant field with working experience of at least five(5) years in a senior position in administration
Applicants are invited from within and outside ARdhi University
Duties:
-Develops effective policies and procedures for hiring,training,deployment,dev elopment and retention of staff
-Develops comprehensive human resources management manual
-Carries out regular human resources audit and inventory of current and needed skills
-Prepares long and short term human resources training programs
-Develops and maintains policeies for maintenance of god industrial relations
-Ensure the University remains competitive in the labour market
-Develops and advises aon suitable remuneration packages
-Develops and administers,and consolidates annula work plans and budgets
-Enforces and ensure uniform understanding and application of Human Resource Policies
-Interprets Human Resources Policies and Services Regurations
-Prepares Human Resources Projections and plans
-Prepares Reports for the University management meetings
-Manages the Directorate efficiently and Firmly
-Keeps track of HIV/AIDS control programs
-Performs any other related duties as maya assigned by one's reporting officer

2.PERSONAL SECRETARY 2(1 Post)
Qualifications & Experience:
Holder of Form four/six certificate with passes in English and kiswahili plus Diploma in Secretarial studies from a recognized institution and shorthand/Hatimkato 100/120 w.p.m.,typing 50 w.p.m,tabulation and manuscript stage 3 with working experience of at least three years in a simiral position
Duties:
-Follow-up outstanding replies
-Coordiantes office requirements
-Keeps diary of events and appointments
-Ensures offices orderliness and neatness
-Ensures that the respective office is punctually open
-Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by one's reporting officer

3.ACCOUNTANT TRAINEE(1 Post)
Qualification:Holder of CPA(T)/ACCA/ACA/ICMA or equivalent plus ICT skills
Duties:
-Prepares monthly trial balance and bank reconciliation statements
-Prepares monthly salaries and related returns
-maintains debtors and creditors records
-Prepares financial statements
-Handles Revenue Collection
-Prepares Periodical and/or annual financial statements of Revenue and Expenditures
-Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by one's reporting officer

4.ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT 1(Post)
Qualification & Experience:
Holder of Form four/six certificates with NABE 3/ATEC 2/Ordinary Diploma Accountancy/Module A and B with working experience of at least four years in similar position plus ICT skills
Duties:
-Prepare payment report,schedules and lists of various expenditure
-Maintains Vote and Varous register e.g.debtor,imprest creditors etc.
-Receives and pays out cash and cheques
-Maintains accounting records
-Prepares monthly trial balances
-Prepares Bank reconciliation statements
-Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by one's reporting officer

5.ASSISTANT SUPPLIES OFFICER 1(1 Post)
Qualification & Experience:
Holder of First Degree/Advanced Diploma/Proffessional level 3 in materials management or procurement and logistic management with working experience of at least four years in similar position plus ICT skills
Duties:
-Approves store issues notes
-Assist in planning training programme for the unit
-Assist in preparing plans,bidgets reports for the units
-Assist in co-ordinating and controlling matters of the units
-Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by one's reporting officer

6.LIBRARY ASSISTANT 1(1 Post)
Qualification & Experience:
Holder of Form four/six certificates with Diploma in Library and Information studies and working experience of at least three years in a similar position plus ICT skills;or hlder of form four/six certificates in library studies/successful completion of certificates library Examinations and working experience of at least five years in a similar position plus ICT skills
Duties:
-Carries out routine professional duties
-Assist in processing added copies and continuations
-Assist in Maintaining public and staff catalogues
-Ensure proper shelving of books and periodicals
-Assists in coping catalogues with CIP data
-Assist in handling inter library loans-gifts and exchanges
-Assist in manual Operations in various sections of the library
-Lends out and receipt of books
-Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by one's reporting officer

7.LIBRARY ASSISTANT 2(2 Post)
Qualification & Experience:
Holder of form four/six certificates with diploma in library and information studies from a recognized institution plus ICT skills;OR holder of form four/six certificates in library and information studies/successful completion of certificates library examinations and working experience of at least three yeas in similar position plus ICT skills.
Duries:
-Performs library and clerical duties e.g. handling of simple enquiries from readers bibliographical searching,collection of library statistics.
-Handles simple enquiries from readers
-Assist readers in bibliographical searching
-Assisting readers in collection of Library statics
-Assist in proper shelving of books and periodicals
-Assist in manual operations in various setions of the library
-Lends out and receipt of books
-Assist in coping catalogues with CIP data
-Performs any other related duties as may be assigned bay one's reporting officer
Note:
Remuneration:Successful candidates will be offered attractive salaries within the PGSS scale
