TICTS Customer Liaison Manager

Tanzania International Container Terminal Services Limited (TICTS) is a member of Hutchison Port Holdings Group (HPH) of Hong Kong. Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH), a subsidiary of the multinational conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa Limited (HWL), is the world's leading port investor, developer and operator. The HPH network of port operations comprises 320 berths in 52 ports, spanning 26 countries throughout Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, the Americas and Australasia. Over the years, HPHhas expanded internationally into other logistics, transportation-related and hotel businesses. These include cruise ship terminals, airport and hotel operations, distribution centres, rail services, and ship repair facilities. In 2012, the HPB port network handled a combined throughput of76.8 million TEUworldwide.

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified, motivated individuals to fill the position of Customer Liaison Manager in our Customer Service Section.

Successful applicant will be responsible for providing assistance and manages company interactions and activities with all port users, also to be responsible for identifying new business opportunities to ensure additional sources of business income of the company and the opportunities will be generated through multiple distribution channels within the region comprised Asia, Europe, Africa, America etc. Customer Liaison Manager will be required to build new and maintain close relationships with the clients.

Qualification and Experience

Applicants should possess Degree or its equivalent in Business Administration - Marketing or relevant discipline, training in transport logistic will be an added advantage, also should have at least five (5) years' of experience working with a reputable business organization at supervisory level. He /She must be proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power point) an excellent communication skills with at least three languages Swahili, English and Chinese together with the ability to work long hours.
