KCB Bank Rwanda Ltd is presently operating a Network of 11 branches, 3 cash centres, 16 ATMs and over 300 agents spread across Rwanda. 1. HEAD OF OPERATIONS
The Purpose
Reporting to the Managing Director, the job holder will be responsible for driving our service support strategy and creating a highly efficient banking operations environment that is responsive to customer demands while ensuring high standards of operational control. He/ she will be required to provide strong leadership and mentorship to a highly energetic and multicultural team and ensure full 5. achievement of the strategy of the bank in service support.
Key Responsibilities
• To provide leadership to the service support teams by establishing clearly defined job objectives for direct reports and monitoring performance on a regular basis;
• To develop and drive an effective operations strategy that is responsive to customer needs while ensuring compliance to regulatory and prudential guidelines in the bank´s daily business operations;
• To enhance bank-wide operational standards in order to improve service delivery as well as provide support to improve service delivery as well as provide support and guidance on operational procedures and processes;
• To oversee the bank´s logistical and procurement functions by enhancing value creation through efficiency and waste management´
• To continuously evaluate the performance of the business processes already in place and recommend/initiate appropriate process changes or customize to obtain efficiency and mitigate risks;
• To oversee the bank´s service delivery channels to ensure reasonable and constantly improving availability of all service channels including but not limited to the bank´s ATMs network;
• To leverage on technology to provide world class
service delivery to all clients and stakeholders.
• To communicate and coordinate with all other stakeholders to ensure congruence and teamwork in the delivery of the bank´s overall strategy.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• A University degree in a business related field from a recognized institution.
• Possession of a post graduate degree and/or professional banking qualification will be an added advantage i.e. ACIB or AKIB;
• Minimum of 10 years working experience in a banking or any financial services environment, 5 of which should be in senior managerial position in an operations environment.
