Responsibilities include:
- Lead the project's engagement with international, host-country, and public and private stakeholders
- Ensure strategic coordination of programs with a variety of global health actors
- Understand and manage commodity market dynamics
- Support advocacy for pharmaceutical availability
- Collaborate with other USAID programs
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in health-related discipline required
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in global health programming
- Experience engaging with programs supported by bilateral agencies, such as USAID, and other international agencies, such as the Global Fund, World Health Organization, the World Bank, and private foundations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills; and proven diplomatic and public relations skills in a variety of cultural settings
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of French, Spanish, or Portuguese preferred
