IBM Lead Development Representative: Kenya

The person will work closely with the Central, East & West Africa Software Marketing Leader to ensure opportunity identification/validation follow through on all marketing activities are delivered in alignment with the strategic priorities of the business. This role is focused to achieve aggressive YTY growth into 2015 leveraging off a variety of marketing mix elements.
Job description
As a Lead Development Representative, you will become an integral part of a talented, growing and successful Lead Generation team. You will be responsible for placing outbound lead generation calls to targeted prospects in order to identify and warm up” new business leads for your assigned segment(s), and your excellent communication skills, persistence, and persuasiveness will compel prospects to take the next step with IBM Software Solutions. You must have a proven sales record of generating leads that result in closed / won revenue.
Responsibilities:
• Place outbound calls and uncover potential leads by performing a needs assessment to identify pains and concerns with the prospect
• Manage inbound and outbound leads through the lead generation process, starting with initial contact, lead nurturing and lead qualification, and ending with the transition of qualified leads to the Sales team to own and close.
• Generate high quality leads that result in a high percentage of conversion to Closed / Won Revenue
• Utilize sales and marketing tools to prepare target lists for cold calling, maintain critical prospect data, execute targeted campaigns, and coordinate and prioritize daily activities.

Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 4 years experience in Consistent over-achievement in past experiences
At least 4 years experience in Technically adept, experienced with web technologies
At least 4 years experience in Salesforce.com (or other) CRM experience
At least 4 years experience in Proven track record in outbound B2B telemarketing/telesales lead generation and prospecting with a focus on closed/won revenue
At least 4 years experience in experience working on Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
English: Fluent
Preferred
Master's Degree in Business/Management
At least 5 years experience in Consistent over-achievement in past experiences
At least 5 years experience in Technically adept, experienced with web technologies
At least 5 years experience in Salesforce.com (or other) CRM experience
At least 5 years experience in Proven track record in outbound B2B telemarketing/telesales lead generation and prospecting with a focus on closed/won revenue
