Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Risk Assurance manager with specialization in financial services to help develop and deliver high quality controls audits, compliance reviews and IT assurance services to a wide range of Financial Services clients. You will assist clients understand and challenge the extent to which their systems, processes and people assist or inhibit their strategies to generate value.You will be reporting to the RAS leader and expected to be able to:
-Lead teams in scoping, delivering and quality assuring output.
-Managing a Financial Services client portfolio contributing to development of new business relationships and business proposals.
-Provide external audit support through business process reviews for Financial Services clients through developing an understanding of the risks facing the client and develop solutions to mitigate those risks
-Understand and perform non audit assurance engagements to provide internal and external stakeholders comfort over non-financial information
-Work with clients to address breakdowns in their control environment from the root cause in the business process or technology environment and design procedures and controls that need to be implemented to enhance their control environments which can include developing integrated risk and control frameworks
-Leading engagement teams
-Managing and building day-to-day client relationships;
-Managing staff and taking on coaching responsibilities
Additional Information
To be successful you will require:-Developed core skills in a wide range of disciplines including accounting/audit, application and support of information technology, risk evaluation and project governance.
-Have a relevant professional qualification (CISA, CIA, CISM).
-Experience gained working within Financial Services businesses and an appreciation of Financial Services regulation.
-A proven track record of experience in Risk Assurance understanding of financial products ,operations and thetechnology that supports them.
-Experience in coaching and developing other members of staff.
-Focused and able to work autonomously
-Specific experience of Financial Services regulatory reviews.
-Ability to develop client relationships.
-Ability to lead teams and proactively contribute to team success.
