Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements, and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Good Neighbors International strives to improve lives, especially children lives through education, food, shelter, community development, medical care, advocacy and emergency relief since its establishment in 1991.

Good Neighbors is looking for a dynamic individual to join our highly motivated team in the following role;

Sponsorship officer

Reports to: Sponsorship Manager

Location-Dar Es salaam

Duties and responsibilities

1.     In charge of selected Community Developing Project

2.     Insuring Annual Progressive Report (APR), Drop out report, Annual child letters (ACL), and Monthly reports are filled properly and collected in time.

3.     Keeping proper record of reports from field activities.

4.     Conducting short course training to sponsorship members, community/sponsored children about our work.

5.     Facilitating communication between head office, CDPs and International head quarters.

6.     Ensuring all deadlines are met as directed by international head quarters or by the country director especially on submissions of new children files, annual letters, annual progressive report and gift letters

7.     Facilitating children rights campaign

8.     Performing any other related duties as may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in social work or any other related discipline.

Experience

§  At least two years experience working with an NGO/donor funded projects.

§  Knowledge in use of computer software packages for word processing, excel, access, databases, spreadsheets, internet.

§  Excellent communication skills.

§  Ability to follow deadlines.

§  Good team spirit.
