Sustainable
Agriculture Tanzania (SAT) is a registered organization in Tanzania with
registration number SA.17581. SAT works closely with small scale farmers on
organic farming and stakeholders like universities, companies and governmental
extension officers are directly involved in activities that are carried out by
SAT. This holistic approach establishes an Innovation Platform, where dissemination,
research, application and networking build the main pillars.

Project Manager
Key roles and responsibilities
1.
Oversee the day to day management of the projects
2.
Conduct trainings for farmers in villages and at the farmer
training centre in Vianzi
3.
Lead and carry out experiments on different technologies and
innovations in organic agriculture
4.
Develop session plans and training materials on organic
agriculture
Qualifications
1.
Bachelor of science in relevant agricultural sciences
(Agriculture, agronomy, horticulture)
2.
Knowledge of organic and sustainable agriculture
3.
Experience working in a not for profit organization dealing
with sustainable agriculture will be an added advantage
To be based in Morogoro at
Kilakala and Vianzi.
Accountant cum
administrator
Duties and responsibilities
- Preparation of weekly cash flow for the organization
- Frequent preparation of financial
reports on the projects for effective control of funds
- Prepare payroll and ensure tax and statutory
deductions are submitted on time
- Prepare donor financial reports
according to their requirements
- Maintain trading, profit and loss
account for the income generation components of the organization
- Any other duty assigned to you by virtue
of your position.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from a
recognized institution.
- At least 3 years relevant working experience in the NGO or private sector
- Demonstrated experience in financial management of donor funds and
cost accounting would be an added advantage
- Experience with Excel
- Have the ability to work for long and odd hours to meet deadlines
