Mines Manager , Tanzania Portland Cement Company Limited

The Management of Tanzania Portland Cement is inviting for a suitable candidate to fill the above vacant position.

Qualification:

The candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering OR its equivalent.

Computer proficient with knowledge in MS office.

Must have good managerial skills of mechanized open cast mine/quarry operations and surface blasting operation.

Knowledge of Cement technology is highly required.

Must be fluent in speaking and writing English and Swahillianguages.

Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a Quarry/Open Cast Mining operations OR its equivalent.

Duties:

Responsible for receiving, storing and issuing of explosives for quarry blasting operations.

Responsible for planning and implementation of the Mining Master plan.

Managing the contractors dealing with mining, load and haul in the plant.

Prepare monthly mining loyalty, cement raw materials together with explosive returns to the Ministry of Energy and Minerals.

Liaise with quality department In controlling the quality of all raw materials and plant process analysts on a monthly mass balance reports.

Prepare and control the yearly departmental budget.

Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA) compliance with the company requirements.

Perform any other duties that may be assigned.
