PROCESS PLANT SECURITY COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Process Plant Security Superintendent/Security Manager we seek to appoint a Process Plant Security Coordinator at our Buzwagi gold mining operation.
KEY RESULT AREAS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Manage the provision of security services.
• Liaise with Process Plant Operations groups as required to support the security function.
• Communicate with the Process Plant Security Superintendent to ensure that information is received and analyzed with the aim of protecting the company’s people and assets.
• Support the Security Manager and Process Plant Security Superintendent in deploying initiatives and strategies relating to information gathering, analysis and management.
• Record and report security events as required in a timely manner regarding Process security.
• Comply with all related Security Policies and Procedures including the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights and the Use of Force Principles.
• Comply with the Gold Security Standards.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Night shift work will be required.
PROFESSIONAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
Education Requirements:
• Related qualification within the security industry.
Experience Requirements:
• A minimum 10 years in the police/military or security.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a security management/ supervisory position is required.
• Experience in working in developing countries
• Knowledge of advanced security systems will be considered an asset.
• Experience in the natural resources sector.
• Experience in training individuals in use of force and voluntary principles on security and human rights requirements.
• Experience in working in diverse locations
