UFBR Project Officer-SINGIDA

JOB OBJECTIVE:- UFBR project officer expected to coordinate and supervise the UFBR project activities in Iramba and Mkalama Districts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate UFBR training activities in the district and wards
• Coordinate UFBR outreach activities in the districts
• Supervise work undertaken by volunteer ward coordinators
• Coordinate advocacy activities by UFBR

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• An advance diploma in social science or public health. Those with degree will have added advantage
• Sound knowledge of sexuality ,gender ,human rights and reproductive health
• At least three years in managing sexual and reproductive health and rights related interventions at district ,region or national level . Applicants worked on sexuality and gender projects will have added advantage
• At least 3 years experience of managing volunteers both, youth and adults in SHR related activities.
• Experience of dealing with senior government officials at district and national level
• A sound knowledge of advocacy ,lobbying and mass communication
• Ability to use data for advocacy,planning, decision making and reporting
• Sound capacity to use computers for data processing and storage, IMS and basic IT knowledge
• Strong team leader and player
• Ability to travel up to 40% of his/her time
