AcT is now seeking to recruit a Grants Manager who will be responsible for managing fiduciary risk in relation to accepting grantees and ongoing grant payments. The position will be for a period of two years and will be based in Dar es Salaam.
Selection Criteria
Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of and strong track record in programme financial management
(CPA or equivalent would be an advantage)
Experience of working with civil society organisation and management donors funded
programmes
Fluency in written and spoken English (KiSwahili is not essential but would be an
advantage)
Person Specification
High performing team player, able to contribute to the effectiveness of AcT’s programme
management and an effective manager of people
Adaptability and flexibility in taking on, and contributing to, new approaches
Commitment to strengthening accountability and governance in Tanzania
Result oriented with high standards and attention to detail
Ability to judge and respond to risks to ensure that they are managed in a pragmatic but
robust fashion
