Two year contract based in Chennai with regular travel around India. UK or Indian passport, or PIO/NRI status essential.

Package includes salary of INR 133,980 + GB £597 per month, subsidy for housing (INR 18,900 per month), school fees and contributions to a pension plan.

British Council India is recruiting a Senior Training Consultant to join the English Partnerships team in Chennai. TEFL Diploma and substantial experience of English Language Teaching (at least 5 years) are essential. At least two years experience of teacher training is also required.

You will be responsible for managing the design & delivery of ELT projects in South India. This includes commissioning and embedding digital products & services, recruitment and professional development of freelance ELT staff.

You must have a TEFL diploma (DELTA, Trinity Dip. TESOL or equivalent) and at least 5 years experience of ELT. Experience of Academic Management and at least 2 years experience of teacher training are also required.

The post is open to UK and Indian passport holders or holders of PIO/NRI status.
