Tanzania Cotton Board is a regulatory body established under the Cotton Industry Act No.2 l! of 2001 whose functions are provision of regulatory, development and promotion services W to the cotton industry in Tanzania. The Board is looking for qualified, young anq dynamic Tanzanians to fill in the following vacant positions.
POSITION; HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER I (1 POST)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To participate in attending staff matters regarding recruitments, confirmations promotions and internal transfers;
• To participate in the preparation and updating personnel records; To prepare reports concerning Human Resource Development;
• To assist in the analysis of the employees performance gaps depending on the annual performance appraisal results and recommend measures;
• To collect data for human resources planning and training programmes; To assist in preparation of personnel emolument;
• To coordinate orientation and induction programs;
• To participate on the updates of Organization structure and prepares role profile of each department/ section;
• To compile and keep employees' disciplinary matters proceeding reports; To prepare notices and advertisement for vacant staff positions;
• To supervise both confidential and open registry;
• To liaise with National Health Insurance Fund on staff matters;
• To participate in coordinating, supervising and facilitating transport services.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Holder of a Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, Human Resources, Management or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. At least three years work experience in related fields.
