Tanzania Cotton Board is a regulatory body established under the Cotton Industry Act No.2 l! of 2001 whose functions are provision of regulatory, development and promotion services W to the cotton industry in Tanzania. The Board is looking for qualified, young anq dynamic Tanzanians to fill in the following vacant positions.
COTTON DEVELOPMENT & PROMOTION OFFICER I (2 POSTS)
Duties & responsibilities:
Participate on collection, refining and dissemination of information for cotton promotion and development.
To administer cotton marketing operations.
To develop marketing arrangements/procedures during crop buying operations To compile production and marketing statistics and draft reports.
Undertaking any other duty as may be directed from time to time by his supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Appointment of a candidate holding a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Science (Crops) or equivalent qualifications from recognized Institution.At least three years work experience in related fields.
The candidate must have good communication skills, fluent in English and Kiswahili, self-motivated individual and must be computer literate
