TIGO RAN Performance Engineer

Role Purpose This role will be responsible for taking our customers' feedback to directly improve our network further. Through proactive and reactive network fault investigation, you will work with network planners and operation teams, ensuring we are focused on what is impacting our customers. Key Responsibilities • Statistically identify the congested parts of the radio network and to forecast the future growth of Network. • Investigating and escalating performance issues to concern department. • Provide recommendations for 2G&3G and Core Network performance improvement. • Identify the planned activities as the root cause for performance changes. • Create and analyse performance reports for 2G & 3G RAN, Packet Core, Core Network & Transmission. • Identify suspected deficiencies and/or problems in the access network and provide recommendations. Position Requirements ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor degree in Telecommunication, Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology • Minimum 2 years of experience in Network Performance Quality and / or Network Optimization • Experience using performance management tools. CORE COMPETENCIES • Excellent in oral and written communication skills. • Ability to understand and interpret performance KPI's relating to the Network Elements. • Experience of investigating & managing customer generated network faults with an operator or vendor. • Understanding of basic functionality of the Network components.
