TIGO PROJECT MANAGER – PLATFORM, MFS

Role Purpose Program management of the end-to-end implementation of MFS platform projects (greenfield or swap projects, upgrades) and provide project management support to the local MFS operations. Scope: Global Key Responsibilities CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Work with local/regional/global teams and platform vendors to plan and manage the project activities of the overlapping platform projects across Millicom markets • Manage project scope, time and cost within a proper governance model and process • Planning. Participate/Coordinate in the initiation and planning phase. • Supervision. Monitor the progress of project activities. Track the tasks to be done and ensure the right support • Organize. Communicate clear expectations; secure alignment and decision making; structured and consistent engagement of the relevant stakeholders (local/ global). • Evaluate. Manage Quality of Deliverables Vs Milestones. Review progress and adjust plan if needed. Document and share lessons learnt. Continuous process to optimize and improve engagement and governance model. Position Requirements QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE • University degree, preferably in Industrial, IT, Systems Engineer; preferred professional certification in project management • At least 5 years of relevant experience in technology solutions or services • Managed programs or projects on a multi-country basis in a regional or global scope • Preferred relevant experience in mobile financial services deployments and operations or other technology sectors • Fluent English spoken and written required, additional languages (French and Spanish) preferred ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE • Market knowledge and consumer-centric in the area of mobile financial services and mobile value added services • Technology, service use cases and vendors in the area of mobile financial services and mobile value added services • Project management • Business growth drivers and strategy • Project budget and cost • Product development and innovation CORE COMPETENCIES • Negotiation and communication skills • Procurement and contract management • Product management • Project management • Vendor management • Internal stakeholders management APPLY
