EngenderHealth is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates for staff positions on an anticipated USAID-funded project to increase the use of long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) and permanent methods (PMs) in post-abortion care settings. The project will focus on supporting the development of scalable interventions in Tanzania and Bangladesh.
The Clinical Advisor, based in Tanzania (most likely Dar es Salaam) will provide technical assistance to support improved capacity to provide post abortion care family planning in project sites. S/he will be responsible for systems strengthening, training, clinical monitoring and coaching, follow-up and support for service initiation. Experience in the delivery of long-acting reversible contraceptive (LARCs) and permanent methods (PMs) comprehensive post-abortion care services, and EmOC is essential. The Clinical Advisor will be a qualified doctor or Assistant Medical Officer with 5 years’ experience of working in maternal and reproductive health, including LARCs/PMs. Fluent spoken and written English required.
