Crown Agents USA, Inc. (CA-USA) is seeking a Quality Assurance/Waste Management Intern for the Partnership for Supply Chain Management in our Arlington, VA office.

Role & Responsibilities
The Partnership for Supply Chain Management (PFSCM) brings together 13 private sector, non-government and faith-based organizations that are among the most trusted names in supply chain management and international public health and development in the world. PFSCM has been recognized internationally for its work to save lives through stronger public health supply chains; in 2010 the partnership won two supply chain distinction awards from the European Supply Chain and Logistics Summit and was a finalist in the 2012 Supply Chain Innovation Award Competition sponsored by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and SupplyChainBrain.
PFSCM is currently recruiting for a two-month full-time Intern for its Project Management Office based in Arlington, VA. The Intern will work closely with Waste Management Advisors to provide support to the Quality Assurance Unit.
Specific Responsibilities
General duties include but are not limited to:
•Basic internet research of selected Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and inactive/ingredients. •Compile Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for the materials. •Some environmental report writing •Other duties as assigned. •Compile MSDS for selected APIs and other chemicals purchased for USAID projects. •The intern will be asked to prepare a report/presentation covering the work they have completed over the course of the internship for presentation to their supervisor/team members.
Qualifications
The incumbent for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:
•Pharmacist and/or chemistry coursework •Basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office and keyboarding •BS/BA degree in progress or graduate student in related field •Technical writing & organizational skills essential •Strong analytical skills •Interest in learning about environmental, safety, and pharmaceutical management issues •Experience working and living in a culturally diverse environment desirable •Fluency in writing and speaking English is required.
