Duty station: S0S Children's Village Mwanza
Reporting to: Program Manager Mwanza
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop guidelines that support individual and community health efforts.
Evaluate effectiveness, accessibility and quality of personal and population-based health services.
Enforce laws and regulations that protect health and ensure safety.
Mobilize community partnerships to identity and solve health problems.
Propose the sustainable initiatives to strengthening public health centres for sustainable health care. ,
Responsible for the development and implementing of health related
program basing on organization strategies and program focus,
Monitor health status of the children in the Alternative care and Family
Strengthening Program and suggest the solution on how to address the issues identified
Research for new insights and innovative solutions to health problems.
Work with programs to support the implementation of SWASH projects and other health related programs.
Qualifications.
Bachelor degree in health management disciplines, With at least 3 years working experience in health related projects/ institutions Possess a high level of technical expertise ability to apply skills to initiate and support sustainable health programs
Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities
Excellent communication skills up and down organizational structure
Strong health planning programs, organizational planning and follow up skills and mechanisms.
Experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating development projects;
Experience in developing and managing health related budgets;
Fluent in oral and written English; demonstrated excellent report writing skills.
Good computer skills including excel ,word, outlook and PowerPoint
