Background
The National institute for Medical Research (NIMR) is a public health research institution in Tanzania, established by the Parliament Act No. 23 of 1979 as a parastatal organization Under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare with a mission to conduct, coordinate, regulate and promote scientifically and ethically sound, high quality health research and deliver evidence-based information that is responsive to the needs of human well being
The Institute is looking for qualified dynamic and motivated Tanzanian candidates to fill the following posts

Supplies Assistant II-I post
Holder of Ordinary Diploma in Materials Management
II working experience of at least one year in a reputable institution

Security Guard III - 1 post - NIMR TANGA (Residents of Tanga are encouraged to apply)
Form four certificates with one year National Service Training and must be physically fit. A working experience of at least one year in a reputable institution

Driver II-I post NIMR TABORA (Residents of Tabora encouraged to apply)
Holder of form IV national Examination Certificate with am C valid driving licence, Trade Test Grade II (motor vehicle mechanics) or its equivalent and a dean record in driving for at least three years.

Artisan III- 2 posts (Motor vehicle & Electrical)
Holder of form IV Examination Certificate and Trade Test Grade II or equivalent from recognized Institution.
A working experience of at least one year in a reputable institution

Personal Secretary III-1 POST
Holder of Form IV or VI secondary certificate with principal Credit passes in English and Kiswahili plus Secretarial Certificate with 100/120 w.p.m.

Health Lab Technologists III– 3 posts
Holder of Form IV or VI National Examination Certificate and Ordinary Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent from a recognized Institution

Research Scientist II- 3 posts
Holders Of a minimum of an Upper Second Class degree in medicine
OR social sciences.

Public Relation Officer III-1 post
Holders of University Degree or Advanced Diploma in Journalism, or Mass Communication or any degree in social sciences with major in communication. A working experience of at least one year in a reputable institution
