Head of Pathology

The Aga Khan Hospital, Dar es Salaam which is part of The Aga Khan Development Network, is undergoing a major expansion to position the institution to become a leading tertiary care and teaching hospital. As part of the expansion, The Aga Khan University will be offering new postgraduate medical education programs leading to Master of Medicine, beginning with Medicine and Surgery from January 2016.

Qualified candidates are being sought for the following positions:

Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Head of Anaesthesia
Head of Pathology


Responsibilities:
To be a role model academic medical specialist and provide leadership in the department to develop and implement an integrated clinical service and academic plan which is aligned to the institutional goals of providing high quality tertiary care and outreach services and establishing a learning environment that will foster education and research.


Qualifications:
Master of Medicine or its equivalent with not less than 8- 10 years' clinical experience in the relevant filed of specialty as well as experience in education and research as an Assistant Professor.
