The purpose of this position is to increase and manage grant-funding from varied sources (institutional, corporate, etc) to deliver programs in the Country Strategic Plan.
The position holder with be responsible for the effective management of relationships with donors and Nos, effective management of grants, including grant systems and quality and timely reports, Quality assurance of all donor reports.
In addition s/he will be responsible for management and coordination of concept paper and proposal development and dissemination while supporting Project Coordinators in grants development and management-related roles and coordinating donor visits
Educational Qualification and Experience
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, or other related discipline.
5 years relevant experience in an NGOs or donor organisation
Demonstrated track record of writing project proposals and obtaining grant funding for development projects
Demonstrated track record of managing the implementation of programs
A commitment to, and understanding of, participatory approaches to development.
Sponsorship Administrator- 1 Position- Dsm
The purpose of this position is to coordinate Sponsorship Communications from the
Program Units and to support sponsorship department in Plan systems according to the corporate requirements. Adherence to the corporate requirements will ensure compliance to Plan International communication expectations and continuous sponsorship activities
Educational Qualification and Experience
A bachelor degree in social sciences, management, education, development studies, or any child centered related field.
An additional qualification in Public relations will be an added advantage
2-3 years' experience in the related field at a similar level.
Experience in community capacity building and child rights programming
Community Development Facilitators- 4 Positions –Kibaha,
Ifakara, Geita, Kisarawe
The purpose of this position is to facilitate children, parents and partners in designing, planning, implementing and monitoring projects at the grass roots level while building and maintaining the relationship through meaningful communication across cultures.
The incumbent is needed at the frontline as a community development agent responsible for the effective facilitation of Child Centered Community Development and building meaningful relationships, among the multiple stakeholders in the community development process. She/he is responsible for both
program implementation and facilitating community managed sponsorship work.
PROGRAM UNIT MANAGER 2 POSITIONS - MWANZA & IFAKARA
The purpose of this position is to lead and manage Plan's field office in Mwanza /Ifakara in planning, implementing and monitoring program interventions to high quality, and to manage the teams to ensure they perform highly and achieve organizational goals.
The Program Unit Manager is in charge of providing strategic leadership in the overall implementation of the programmes at district level. Adhering to donor compliance across all grants is critical, as well as acting as a representative for Plan in the region.
S/he is responsible in ensuring that all targets are met by staff across all Key
management areas of operation, program, sponsorship, human resource and finance.
S/he maintains all relationships with partners and is accountable for their performance.
S/he works in partnership with local authorities at the district/regional level and with the Country office team. Overall, she/he is the representative of the country director at the district level and will ensure Plan's visibility and participation by facilitating appropriate collaboration, networks and partnerships. Phase in Facilitator 1 Position-Rukwa
Plan lntemational Tanzania is phasing out of two field offices in Dar es salaam and Kibaha over the next 3-4 years and opening a new field office in Rukwa.
The Facilitator will support the Manager to identify an office location, setting this up, building relationships with partners as well as, ultimately, understanding the communities that Plan "Yill target to begin implementing programmes and undertaking child sponsorship. Educational Qualification and Experience

Plan serves as Executing Agency (EA) for the Usafi wa Mazingira Tanzania (UMATA) Programme, a sanitation and hygiene initiative funded by the WSSCC's Global Sanitation Fund, which aims to help one million people live in open defecation free environments. UMATA is being implemented in three districts of Dodoma Region over a five year period; 2012 - Dec 2017.
The Programme Manager will provide operational leadership to and management of

The role of the UMATA Programme Manager is to ensure delivery of the UMAT A programme in

Risks Management & Compliance Manager 1 Position-Dsm
The Purpose of this role is to provide management with assurance of risk management and control in delivering country operations. The incumbent will be responsible to develop and ensure that effective and efficient systems, internal controls, policies and procedures are in place that fosters a culture of accountability, transparency, integrity and honesty. The post holder will report to the Country
Director Plan International Tanzania and with support and guidance from the Country Director, S/he oversees compliance to the approved systems, procedures, policies and controls to facilitate achievement of overall program goals and objectives.
Educational Qualification and Experience
University degree in Accounting, Management or equivalent qualification, a masters
degree will be an added advantage.
Full Professional qualification i.e. CPA (T) and must be registered by, NBAA or equivalent professional bodies '
Three to five years relevant experience out of which two to three years' experience in Internal Control at a senior/strategic level
Professional experience in risk management and compliance auditing.
Knowledge of the NGO environment

The incumbent will provide technical guidance and support towards key Country HR processes in accordance with Plan's HR Principles, policies, best practices and standards for the staff working in the Refugees Emergency Program in Kibondo.
Educational Qualification and Experience
A degree in Human Resource Management, Administration or Social Sciences
Good understanding and application of country labour laws
Mathematic knowledge 'in the field of human resources

Child Marriage Project Coordinator 1 Position-Mara
The purpose of the role is to ensure the timely and quality implementation of the EC funded project on ending child marriage and FGM in Tarime district (2015 - 2017).
The position holder will manage and lead the implementation of the project within EC donor guidelines with implementing partner Children's Dignity Forum and strong liaison with Tarime authorities and Tanzania Football Federation.
Qualifications and Experience
Education - University degree in Social work / community development/social science/ development studies; Master level will be an added advantage.
