As part of our continued growth, De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) is establishing Leicester Castle Business School. Building on our reputation for high quality research and teaching, particularly in post-graduate and executive education, the school will offer a portfolio of inter-disciplinary and creative new courses for high-calibre students. Headquartered in the historic Great Hall of Leicester Castle and drawing upon expertise and corporate connections throughout DMU, this new business school will foster a strong and collaborative research community. We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Banking and Finance who will bring a strong record of teaching, research and publication. They will contribute to the vibrant research and teaching community in Leicester Castle Business School and to creating links with relevant university departments. Candidates should have a strong existing research portfolio or pipeline as well as demonstrated potential for research that will lead to peer-reviewed, internationally recognised publications. In addition, candidates must have a positive track record in teaching and they should be innovative in their approaches to teaching and research and should also be active in professional bodies. The appointed Senior Lecturer will be required to take a leading role in the development and implementation of new programmes and modules in Global Banking and Finance.
