Background
The National institute for Medical Research (NIMR) is a public health research institution in Tanzania, established by the Parliament Act No. 23 of 1979 as a parastatal organization Under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare with a mission to conduct, coordinate, regulate and promote scientifically and ethically sound, high quality health research and deliver evidence-based information that is responsive to the needs of human well being
The Institute is looking for qualified dynamic and motivated Tanzanian candidates to fill the following posts

Artisan III- 2 posts (Motor vehicle & Electrical)

Holder of form IV Examination Certificate and Trade Test Grade II or equivalent from recognized Institution.
A working experience of at least one year in a reputable institution

Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools
Diagnose malfunctioning systems (electrical or vehicles)
Repair of motor vehicle or electrical systems in office and residential houses
Connect wires to circuit breakers, inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to Identify hazards (electrical or vehicles)
Advice management technically on issues of motor vehicle and electrical
