Background
The National institute for Medical Research (NIMR) is a public health research institution in Tanzania, established by the Parliament Act No. 23 of 1979 as a parastatal organization Under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare with a mission to conduct, coordinate, regulate and promote scientifically and ethically sound, high quality health research and deliver evidence-based information that is responsive to the needs of human well being
The Institute is looking for qualified dynamic and motivated Tanzanian candidates to fill the following posts

Security Guard III - 1 post - NIMR TANGA (Residents of Tanga are encouraged to apply)
Form four certificates with one year National Service Training and must be physically fit. A working experience of at least one year in a reputable institution

Duties and Responsibilities
To guard residential areas of executives and senior officers
To record in appropriate books all happenings and incidents of the day
To guard Institute properties at various places
To maintain peace and order inside and around work place
To report any suspicious workers and visitors
To check incoming and outgoing vehicles
To check outgoing materials and equipment
To perform any other related duties assigned,
