D. Executive Chef/Food Service Manager - 1 POSITION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
Responsible for managing all food and beverage services in the hospital.
Responsible for all food production including patient meals, staff meals, visitor's canteen and catering for special events (within the hospital).
Develop menus, food purchase specifications and recipes.
To co-ordinate and manage Costing and pricing of the food services
Maintain highest professional food quality and sanitation standards as per HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and JCIA (joint Commission
International Accreditation).
Develop and monitor food and labor budgets.
Supervise staff and manage staff schedules.
Prepare and submit relevant weekly, monthly and yearly reports to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology or any food related degree
Diploma or degree in management/ leadership will be an added advantage
Knowledge in Nutritional issues will be an added advantage.
At least 5 years of working experience in healthcare or Hospitality Industry
