Credit Officer
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s Degree/Advance Diploma in Banking, Economics, Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration/Management.
Four years working experience in a Bank or Financial Institution, out of which minimum two years should be in Credit Dept. preferably in supervisory level.
Experience in processing Credit proposal, monitoring of borrower accounts, canvassing credit business and recovery in irregular borrowers account's, handling trade finance business.
Should be a Computer Literate and Proven Computer Skills using spreadsheets and accounting software packages.
Fluently in reading and writing, Speaking English and Kiswahili.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY
Overall supervision of Credit Department and report to the Head of Credit! Chief Manager/Branch Manager/General Manager.
To process credit proposals, monitoring of borrowalalcs, preparation of statements etc.
Canvassing business for the Bank
Any other assignment as may be assigned from time to time pertaining to Credit operations.
